After the success of a series of major projects such as The Estella, Empire City Thủ Thiêm, Palm City... Keppel Land is preparing to launch the mega residential project Saigon Sports City, a large mixed-use development comprising high-end housing, commercial and service areas, and public sports facilities.

According to introductions, upon completion, Saigon Sports City is expected to supply the Ho Chi Minh City real estate market with 4,300 high-end apartments, alongside a sports complex, an entertainment center and the country’s first lifestyle complex.

In terms of design, Saigon Sports City will incorporate many natural elements, with project components integrated into nature — from optimizing airflow and natural light, to extended jogging tracks, expanses of greenery with rich native vegetation and attractive, naturally filtered water features, all combining to create a magnificent green environment.

Developer Keppel Land also stated it will collaborate with leading domestic and international partners to provide intelligent mobility solutions and environmental infrastructure solutions... The initial phase of Saigon Sports City will include residential areas, a shopping center and a sports complex.

Reportedly, the total land area of Saigon Sports City reaches 64ha — one of the largest mixed-use complexes in Ho Chi Minh City, planned to include residential apartments and sports facilities, located within the Rạch Chiếc sports complex, An Phú Ward, District 2. 

According to research, the overall construction density of Saigon Sports City will be approximately 25% and the land use coefficient is 1.29.

In terms of design, the overall Saigon Sports City District 2 complex will be divided into two functional subzones: Subzone 1 and Subzone 2. Among them:

• Subzone 1: Has an area of 26ha, located north of the Mương Kinh canal. This will be the specialized central sports training and competition subzone. It includes practice fields for most sports, an international-standard competition center, a modern talent sports school, along with extensive green areas and parks.

• Subzone 2: This is a 38ha subzone located south of the Mương Kinh canal. Invested to transform Saigon Sports City District 2 into an integrated sports hub, this subzone will see Keppel Land focus on developing enclosed commercial and service centers, international-quality high-rise residential apartment complexes. Office towers, conference and exhibition centers, healthcare and cultural facilities will also be developed…
