Phú Mỹ Hưng Midtown
Phú Mỹ Hưng Midtown is the largest investment project in the past three years and, for the first time, Phú Mỹ Hưng has entered into a joint venture with three leading Japanese real estate developers to create a luxurious, high-end mixed-use complex located in the heart of District 7. The project comprises 4 zones and will deliver 2.125 condominium units to the market.
Phú Mỹ Hưng Midtown is inspired by world-renowned mixed-use developments such as Tokyo Midtown and Midtown Manhattan. The project is developed by Phú Mỹ Hưng in partnership with three top Japanese real estate companies: Daiwa House Group, Nomura Real Estate Development Group and Sumitomo Forestry Group.
In early 2017, information about Phú Mỹ Hưng Midtown was officially announced to the market and generated strong interest in the luxury condominium segment with three towers: The Grande, The Symphony and The Signature. After three sales launches, all units in these three towers have been sold.
Following that success, on 5/10 the developer Phú Mỹ Hưng officially introduced The Peak, the fourth and final component of the Phú Mỹ Hưng Midtown complex. The Peak is scheduled to officially go on sale on 4/11. Currently, information related to The Peak is attracting significant attention. Rever will highlight some of The Peak’s standout advantages as well as those of the Midtown project overall so you don’t miss the opportunity to own an apartment in this premium development.
Phú Mỹ Hưng Midtown - A golden location for prosperous living
Phú Mỹ Hưng Midtown is located within the International Commercial and Financial District (CBD) — known as the “heart” of the Phú Mỹ Hưng urban area, Tan Phong Ward, District 7. The project benefits from a prime site and auspicious topography that not all developments enjoy. Specifically:
- Prime proximity to commerce: A bridge away from the International Commercial and Financial District and the vibrant, modern The Crescent area with mixed-use towers such as offices, hotels, services and F&B venues.
- River adjacency: A scenic river flows in front, following the contour of the land.
- Road connectivity: Fronting the main arteries Nguyễn Lương Bằng Boulevard & Tân Phú Boulevard, connecting District 7 with neighboring districts; the area also hosts international schools and major administrative facilities.
- Park adjacency: Opposite is Vietnam’s only cherry blossom park, Sakura Park, adjacent to the 4,5ha Nam Viên Park.
- Educational connectivity: The surrounding area already features a system of domestic and international schools (Canada international, Nam Sài Gòn, Japanese, Korean, Taipei …).
The convergence of these criteria is a key factor that gives Phú Mỹ Hưng Midtown its competitive edge. From the project, residents can easily access other districts such as District 1, District 4, District 5, District 2, District 8, etc. Transportation is convenient, and road expansions further facilitate residents’ mobility.
Sakura Park masterpiece – the signature highlight of the entire development
Phú Mỹ Hưng Midtown features Vietnam’s only cherry blossom park — Sakura Park — which is the most prominent highlight of the entire project, playing a central role in creating a unique and characterful landscape.
Sakura Park extends for more than 600 meters, following the curve of the Cả Cấm River, and was designed by a leading landscape design firm in Thailand – Landscupltor Studio. Every detail from design and materials to plant species and color palettes has been carefully selected and executed. The park’s primary bloom is the Singapore Sakura, a pink-white flower similar in appearance to cherry blossoms and suitable for Vietnam’s climate. During the flowering season, pathways and promenades are filled with romantic pink-and-white cherry blossoms.
In addition, the design team has planted other species such as tamarind, tropical almond and willow to ensure that outside of the Singapore Sakura season the park still offers a lively palette of foliage and blooms, creating a beautiful, idyllic garden for residents to fully enjoy their relaxation time.
One-third of the park area is dedicated to children’s play spaces, divided by age group with appropriate equipment. Parents can therefore be confident in a safe, nature-friendly environment that stimulates children’s creativity.
The Peak – “Save the best for last”
Like the well-known American song “Save the Best for Last,” The Peak represents the very best remaining element of the Phú Mỹ Hưng Midtown project. Even the name “The Peak” connotes the elevated standard of this component.
The Peak occupies the most attractive land parcel of the project, fronting Tân Phú Street, adjacent to Nam Viên and separated from the International Commercial and Financial District by the Cả Cấm canal. As a result, the development benefits from cooling breezes and a fresh atmosphere from the Cả Cấm canal and the landscape lake.
The Peak is built on a site of more than 27.725m2 and comprises two building blocks labeled M8A and M8B. M8B includes 338 apartments with a composition of 74% two-bedroom units sized 70-97 m2, 25% three-bedroom units 104-121m2 and the remainder tophouses from 141m2.
The most impressive detail of this component is a waterfall up to 10m high and a fountain located at the central area. From here, water flows into the landscape lakes and through a large park that features more than 100 plant species arranged in diverse layouts. The harmonious interplay of water, breezes, lush greenery and year-round blossoms — elements that are rare in a bustling city — are richly recreated at The Peak Phú Mỹ Hưng Midtown.
The Peak’s apartments are designed in two completely different styles: Pan-Asian and Italian Chic. Customers can choose the style they prefer.
With the Pan-Asian style, the architectural team applies Japanese influences, using materials and spatial arrangements with a Zen quality suited to many Asian buyers. Apartments incorporate transparent, interpenetrating elements to maximize landscape views and create a greater sense of space.
The Italian Chic style emphasizes modernity and sophistication, using fresh color palettes and minimalist design to deliver an elegant living space suited to young, dynamic buyers seeking a completely new experience.
Regardless of style, The Peak apartments are designed to optimize functional use, delivering maximum convenience and comfort for residents. This is also one of Phú Mỹ Hưng’s early projects to apply environmentally friendly, sustainable building materials in its design.
As with the previously sold towers, The Peak also offers an international-standard range of amenities exclusively for unit owners: swimming pools, sauna, massage, gym, multi-purpose rooms, children’s library… In addition, a selection of high-end retail and dining services is available to meet residents’ needs.
The combination of prime location, landscape, design and luxurious amenities confirms Phú Mỹ Hưng Midtown’s strong appeal not only in the South market but across the city. After three sell-outs with record transaction rates of 98-100% on the opening day of The Grande, The Symphony and The Signature, The Peak has once again hot up the condominium market in the year’s final months. With numerous outstanding advantages across every aspect, The Peak promises to be an upscale, prestigious residence within a prosperous community that many buyers aspire to. The project is also highly regarded for liquidity, making it suitable for secondary-market investors.
There is currently no official selling price for The Peak from the developer. Prices are expected to be slightly higher than the average price of 60-70 million/m2 of previously sold components. To date, more than 600 customer applications have been approved and buyers who missed out on previous Phú Mỹ Hưng Midtown rounds are awaiting this launch. Therefore, the opportunity to secure a unit at The Peak Phú Mỹ Hưng Midtown is extremely competitive. Rever will update you as soon as information about The Peak’s selling price is available — don’t forget to follow Rever’s articles so you don’t miss this golden opportunity!
