The Metropole Thu Thiem is an ultra-luxury residential development by SonKim Land, located in Thu Thiem, Functional Zone 1, District 2 (former), HCMC. Positioned opposite the Thu Thiem Opera House, it is presented as the new “elite district” and sits next to Thu Thiem Bridge 2. The project is delivered by phase, with The Galleria comprising 3 towers of 12 floors and 456 units (handover 2021), followed by The Crest (1 tower, 24 floors, 300 units, under construction) and The Opera (2 towers, 24 floors, 646 units, under construction). The OpusK (The Amaris) features 2 towers with a 28–36 floors range and was launched 2022, contributing to an estimated total of 1520 units. Internal amenities include a 50m infinity pool (Galleria), gym – sauna, art garden, BBQ, a sky bar/lounge lobby (Crest), a 360-degree pool (Opera), 3D golf, library, mini cinema, and an internal plaza with boutique retail. From the development, District 1 is just across the river and is planned to be walkable via the future pedestrian bridge linking Nguyen Hue and Thu Thiem Bridge 2, while Sala (~1km) is also noted nearby.
