Sun Group was founded in Ukraine in 1998 by intelligent, passionate, and patriotic Vietnamese. From the start, Sun Group earned the trust of the Vietnamese community there with projects such as Barabasova, the largest Vietnamese commercial center abroad, Làng Thời đại, Sun City supermarket and office rentals, Jungle indoor water park…
2007-2009
Sun Group decided to expand investment to Vietnam, choosing Da Nang as the starting point with the criteria of “Quality and Distinction,” aiming for products that leave a “Timeless Mark.”
On September 14, 2007, Ba Na Cable Car Service Joint Stock Company was established. Two years later, the Suoi Mo – Ba Na and Debay – Morin cable car lines were put into operation, setting two world records and officially opening Ba Na Hills, a premier entertainment and resort complex in Vietnam, marking Sun Group’s first step in Vietnam.
2009 -2012
Alongside further investments in Ba Na Hills, Sun Group launched world-class and Vietnam-leading tourism and resort products such as InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort, Novotel Danang Premier Han River, Premier Village Danang Resort…
2013-2017
On February 2, 2016, the cable car line connecting Muong Hoa Valley to the “Roof of Indochina” – Fansipan – began operation, achieving two world records. This project showcased the intelligence and resilience of the Vietnamese people in conquering seemingly impossible peaks. Additionally, two major theme parks, Sun World Danang Wonders and Sun World Halong Complex, were launched, featuring exciting and novel attractions debuting in Vietnam.
In early 2017, Sun Group introduced the new Sun World brand, uniting the Group’s amusement parks and entertainment complexes such as Sun World Ba Na Hills, Sun World Danang Wonder, Sun World Halong Complex, and Sun World Fansipan Legend.
2017-2020
Names like JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay, Premier Village Phu Quoc Resort, Premier Residence Phu Quoc Emerald Bay, MGallery, Van Don entertainment complex, and Hon Thom sea entertainment complex continued to be timeless products affirming the Vietnamese position globally and the continuous growth of Sun Group.
