FLC

In 2001, lawyer Trịnh Văn Quyết and two associates founded Vietnam Trade Corp Joint Stock Company, operating in the trade and service sector. This marked the first milestone in the career of the 26-year-old lawyer, who later became a founding member of FLC and a prominent figure in the legal and business communities.
 
The year 2001 also witnessed a significant event that would later greatly influence FLC's operations. After assessing the long-term potential in investment consulting, Mr. Quyết and his associates established the Investment Management and Supervision Consulting Joint Stock Company (SMiC).

In January 2010, the member companies merged to form FLC Joint Stock Company, which was renamed FLC Group Joint Stock Company in November 2010.
