Công ty Cổ Phần Xây dựng Công trình 585 (formerly Công ty Xây dựng Công trình 585) was established under Decision No. 140/1999/QĐ-BGTVT dated January 16, 1999, by the Ministry of Transport. Implementing the policy to accelerate the equitization of enterprises by the Party and the State to improve the economic efficiency of businesses. On December 3, 2009, the Ministry of Transport issued Decision No. 3169/QĐ-BGTVT approving the plan and converting Công ty Xây dựng Công trình 585, a dependent accounting unit of Tổng Công ty XDCTGT 5, into Công ty Cổ Phần Xây dựng Công trình 585.

Through the process of construction, development, and maturation, Công ty Cổ Phần Xây dựng Công trình 585 is now one of the key enterprises of Tổng Công ty XDCT GT 5 in the Southern region, operating in the fields of: construction of transportation works, irrigation, hydropower, and real estate investment and business.
